Good game with a Supercell vibe to it!
This feels like a dungeon crawler type of a game from Supercell, that is very challenging. The game is very interesting and long, the stages are small, but intuitive.
The characters/monsters are cool and detailed.
Summarized, if you wish to have a good time, and a challenge try out Archero.
[lgls: Legendary Gamer League Score- More varied scores based on gameplay elements]
Gameplay: Pretty common roguelike style game with progressive dungeons. Has an "Enter the gungeon" feel to it, with less bullets. However the death isn't as harsh as it is in those permadeath types. You keep your equipment, and even level it up to make progressing easier on your next run. Ultimately it's fun, until it becomes monotonous. Which for me took about 10 hours to realize how shallow the game really is. If roguelike games are your style then you may enjoy it more than I did.
Graphics: Top down view, so there's not a whole lot to comment on here. It does look clean though.
Audio: I wouldn't usually comment on the audio portion, but it deserves a 1/5 - with practically no sound track, and attack sounds are quite basic. The sound in this game is among some of the worst I've came across in any game.
Business model: Grind, or pay. You can play quite a lot and progress without paying anything, but upgrading items is very time consuming without money. The game also has stamina. You have a 20 stamina pool, and it takes 5 stamina to play. Though you can watch ads to replinish it.
Overall I give the game 3 stars. It's not a style I'm incredibly fond of, and I find it quite lacking as far as content goes. someone that prefers these types of games would likely rate this higher.
