The heat distorts the traffic outside the window and the concrete imprisons us in a suffocating box. On a weary afternoon, our persistence and search were silently removed, and the dream began to collapse without warning.
When we wake up, it is not the heavy stomp of an alarm, but the call of the wreckage on the beach.
An unworldly maiden appeared in the ruins, and said
"Mankind is drawn and manipulated by mysterious forces to perform solemn and absurd feats."
