Flash Party is an exhilarating platform fighting game in which you can bash and brawl with your friends as one of several unique fighters, each with their own distinct set of moves and special attacks.

We’ve been working hard on Flash Party for almost a year, and while it’s still in its infancy, it’s benefited from incredible feedback from fans who played the closed beta tests. Thanks to them, we think it’s now time to open the beta test to more players, starting with Singapore and Malaysia.

- Why did you decide to create Flash Party?

We started working on this game because of a common passion: we simply love party and action games! Super Smash Bros is one of our ultimate favourites, but at the moment there aren't many games of this genre on mobile platforms. Fortunately, we happened to be game developers and hope to create a similar game that can be played among friends any time. That's the reason why we got together to develop an easy to pick up, yet hard to master Platform Fighting game - one that we would not only love, but excited to share with other like-minded gamers.

For now, we do not clearly define the scope and hierarchy on we distribute work among other development teams. Such arrangement works for us as we are driven by the same goal and focusing on what we are good at. We have learned a lot in the process of developing this game and faced interesting challenges. Many 'eureka' moments have also transpired during our lively discussions and brought about the content that you see in-game. As such, I am really excited to see what the game will be like down the road. If you see any weird designs in the game - don't worry - they’re meant to be that way!

- Why launch the game before it's even ready?

Previously, we used to develop games without any players' input with confidence that it would be successful, only to realise after launch that our ideas or content were not what players wanted. To prevent such scenarios from happening again, we decided to release the game on Tap.io for you guys to test and review, and focus on improving parts of the game that receive the most criticism or backlash. In a way, we are co-developing this game with all of you - that means we would have hundreds, or even thousands of gamers working together to ensure Flash Party's success. Phew, now that's one way to get me feeling sentimental!

- What can we expect from the game?

The gameplay is kept simple for now given it's still in the early stages of development: there are 6 heroes, 2 arena, and an easy growth and reward system. This is because our focus thus far is on making the battle experience feel good and seamless before we move on to enhancing the features and aesthetics. This means the heroes and background images may also change as we move along, though I'll try my best to retain my favourite - Snow White!

Moving forward, you'll see regular updates to the game - what you see today may be replaced by something new tomorrow. On the other hand, it may be weeks where we focus on developing specific aspects of Flash Party, so you might not see any changes for more extended periods of time. In any case, we will continue to share the game development progress here, including content updates and estimated completion dates. We will be making adjustments and adding content per team discussions and, of course, your suggestions from playing Flash Party.

- What happens if I encounter bugs or glitches during the game?

Do expect many bugs in the game as it is still in the early stages of development - some we are aware of, others will require tons of testing before we can find them. Rest assured that we'll do our best to fix them as soon as they are reported.

- So what's the plan for the next months?

The goal is to add more modes and heroes to Flash Party, and this will be the best time for you to voice your suggestions and see your ideas blossom in the game! At the heart of it all, we want to create a cool, casual mobile fighting game that everyone will love and have fun with. When Flash Party officially launches, you will also have the bragging rights to say that you helped develop this game too ;) so please feel free to submit feedback by leaving your comments here, and let's work together to make a fun party and action game together!
