I skipped this game until now, as design is really important for me, and it really deters me in Marvel Snap:
I dont like the atmosphere, the interface, the music... And, i really am no friend of the current superhero-hype...
But, in search of a new tactics game, i gave it another try, and have to admit, that the game itself is excellent:
Interesting cards, just the right amount of rng, exciting and deep matches, great "Snap" mechanic, good balance, generous rewards... I might be biased towards a card game here but Marvel Snap is much more than a game focused purely on the superheroes. Compared to other card games, Snap is no Hearthstone but as a mobile game, Snap allows much faster games, which means it’s easier to get in and out quickly. As a card game, the variance is amazing with the different locations each game, so even if you play the same deck all the time, no game will be the same(the RNG might not be for everyone still). And as a Superheroes game, every character in the Marvel universe gets their own card which represents each of them really well, the locations are also places known in the Marvel universe. With an active development team, cards are added and balanced frequently, a new location is added weekly, so the meta is always new and fresh. The game is really addictive and I would recommend any Marvel fan or card game fan to try. If you are interested in card games genre and looking for a new game in this style, Marvel Snap will definitely be one of your main options that you can have a lot of fun with. If you think this game will only be attractive to people who love the Marvel world, you are wrong. You can get immersed in this game without having any connection to the Marvel world. Like most card games, collecting special cards will engage you and keep you playing for hours. You need to be careful because this game can be addictive and if you’re not careful, it can take up all your time and life. In the following, I will point out the strengths and weaknesses of this game. Strengths: the presence of multiple collections and styles of special cards that will fascinate you. The ranking system that helps you compete with opponents at your level. The graphic appeal of the cards, especially after leveling them up. The type of progression in the level-up system that has made the game more attractive. The difference between each round of the game and previous rounds. The exciting gameplay system with friends. Weaknesses: the lack of difference in power between different character cards. The absence of special and different festivals in the game that add new dimensions to it. Finally, I hope I have been able to help you. If it was helpful, I would appreciate it if you could help me by liking it, and if you have any questions or comments, please write them down for me. That's everything for now. Start a new game?
