Possibly my favorite phone game ever. Addictive, fun, simple to learn, tough to master. Somewhere between chess and a dungeon crawler and a tactical/strategy rpg. Enemy types abide by a strict set of rules and the more you play the better you can predict what the right moves may be, but the random boards, increasing difficulty, and customizable skills that you unlock as you play ensure that no two games are ever the same. Some challenging achievements, just got one left.. #TapTapExplorerS1

TThis game is really fun and adictive Pros:1- the gameplay is simple But needs a lot of focus and strategy and it can be described as easy to learn hard to master 2 2the music is good. Nothing special about the music but it is good 3- graphics: it is a 2d pixle game but the graphics is really nice and contains details Cons: there is no much to talk about in the cons because the game is nicely done and i havent noticed something bad about the game but sometimes my spear gets stuck in a place i cant reach it and i have to restart the game

I'm a big fan of roguelike games but usually prefer a bit more action. While this is definitely challenging it lacks some of the depth I prefer, it's a nice little game that can fill up those 5 minutes of just waiting for something. #TapTapExplorerS1

Hoplite is a retro style rouguelike dungeon crawler RPG where you as a brave knight has to descend in to the chaotic underworld, defeat the enemies and discover the golden fleece. Gameplay wise, the game is as simple as it gets. You can move around the dungeon floor by tapping on tiles, you can see the enemies range by tapping on them. You have to get close to your enemies by evading their attacks and then defeat them by either attacking them, throwing your spear at them or pushing them into the lava with your shield. As the number of enemies on a floor increases, the complexity increases and you have to think before you make your move. The graphics and the music are reminiscent of retro games and it gives you a wave of nostalgia. There is also an option for legacy graphics which makes the graphics even more retro.

I do like the rogue like aspect of the game, and the setting is pretty good. The gameplay is simple, yet has some depth into it, Ido like playing this game, though it is difficult for me. 8/10 from
