Very solid start for an early access game. Very little reliance on real world money. Finding the in-game currencies is balanced. Zero premium currency, no ads, no steryotypical mobile game problems, Gacha mechanic is fair. my only gripe is that there's only auto-aim.

Not bad overall, but 👎 Cons: a couple of broken items or absolutely useless one's, awful elite mechanic (was created to only justify gacha), gacha is also awful (like always) , also blue gems to upgrade characters hard to get and grinding is not fun. Most of the missions you can just run through, there was even more bad things, but they are probably gonna be fixed in release. Now the good and better,👍 Pros: I like the switching character idea (or complete ripoff), but again only to justify gacha and elites, character and skill design good and very fitting to mobile style, bosses are cool, some might feel overpowered, but sometimes you're just not lucky. Just to add I beat first two planets on moonsoon on commando, medic and huntress, sometimes used rocketman.

I didn't play ROR games earlier. For me it's surprisingly fun. Mobile version got some addictive looter-shooter ingredients and it's quite well done. There are happens some bug, but still recommend to play this game 👍 Pros: Simple, but addictive looter-shooter 👎 Cons: Sometimes it can be bugged 💰 Value for Money: F2P frendly (at least at beginning, I'm at player level 10)

The game is really fun but is far removed from what risk of rain is about. The leveling and item system defeat the purpose killing mobs for gold(which should be automatically picked up) to open chests. Stages become rush to portal asap. So overall it's a risk of rain game in skin but not in spirit. The game would be better off copying the magic/vampire survival series. At the moment it feels like a cheap cash grab. I feel the rates will be heavily adjust on proper release if this is f2p to make it even more grindy.

👍 Pros: -nice cohesive artstyle -overall good gameplay that has essence from other RoR games - switch team member mechanics allows for nice variety - no intrusive ads 👎 Cons: - auto aim is more of a neucene then helpful - auto slider allow for better accessibility - somewhat lacks the exploration of other RoR games due to objective guiding entire way - could use a more classic style mode where you go as far as you can through planets and bosses

While the music and the story is there for a RoR title, the gameplay needs to be fixed. I have died numerous times because the dash ability doesn't recognize the direction I'm going and just launches me whatever it wants to (usually up). Until this weird Dash behavior is fixed, I don't think I can give up more than 1* since movement is really critical in any Risk of Rain games.
