Silly Ways to Die takes you through neverending waves of ridiculous and life-threatening danger, for which you’ll have to pull out death-defying acts, in order to prolong Timmy’s life.

As much as it being a nice change from the game Dumb Ways to Die, Silly Ways to Die is a hit-and-miss game really. The challenge of surviving the scenarios does indeed offer a sense of accomplishment but doesn’t seem to go far, especially when I have to memorise every step in each stage. At times, the game appears as though it’s trying to be too clever for its own good.
Still, if you’re in for a good challenge and some gore along the way, there’re still tons to be admired here. What’s more, the comical death-defying ninja acts are more than sufficient to make up for its underwhelming gameplay.
