simplifyed Chinese?! What's the difference between regular Chinese and simplifyed one?! I know there's a big difference between Mandarin & Cantonese...

the characters are just a bit more simple. for example. not all characters though. 大學 becomes 大学. the first one is traditional and the second is simplified. ez

so I'm learning Mandarin and it's tough to be honest. maybe i should've started learning Cantonese instead?

traditional is harder, yet simplified isn't much easier, mandarin was a better choice since not as many people speak Cantonese
