to get stronger you need to upgrade lot of shits. But those upgrades use not only mats but time consuming too. Farming is shit too, because most of times you will meet cluster of enemy ships that can melt your ships if you are not careful
Mission briefing also shit because you will not know what kind of enemy that you up against, what kind of weapon, shield or their ships.
So if you are against laser when your shield isn't resistant to it, one minute less is enough for them to melt your sorry metal ass.
Now for players that displeased of waiting, what can they do? Of course open your wallet and let that flat currency open the door to instant upgrading item that you can get in game.
There's free currency of same function but those are limited use and hard to get.
