First Week of PEL: Guangzhou TC Earned the Weekly Champion
After one week of intense competitions in the Peace Elite League (PEL) Spring Split, the champion for Week One has been decided, Guangzhou TC. The team achieved 87 kills and 147 points, earning the one-million-yuan award.
Jiangsu KONE ranked second with 131 points, while Beijing JDG ranked third with 130 points.
This is the first time TC has won the Weekly Championship. Previously, the team gained nine runners-up from major competitions. TC’s wyy earned the MVP and reached the milestone of 1,000 kills in the league. He is only the fourth player who has achieved this milestone.
Top contenders including LGD, TT and Tianba have all underperformed in their games and failed to enter the finals for the first week.
