I will be the first to admit that some games I play because they have impressive graphics, despite having nearly horrible mechanics. This is one I played for the completely opposite reason.
The graphics are mediocre and chibi characters are used throughout most of the game. The animation is above average, but the effects and colors are vibrant and almost hypnotic. Not only is the soundtrack good, but there are options to configure the music as you progress.
This is a board game. Unlike a lot of games that are put into the closest category to their concept, this is an ACTUAL board game. You roll dice and move around trying to collect things. I have not seen an original board game for mobile in quite some time. I have seen bits of one, but even Game of Dice was just Monopoly by another name.
The gacha rates are pretty good, having drawn a near perfect starting lineup without even thinking of starting over. You do get enough bonuses to roll for 10, but this is part of the release. I cannot say if these rewards will be around in a month or two. If you are thinking of playing, at least build your account before it's too late. You can always come back to it later.
Overall, this is not a game to play for the amazing realism of an intense battle with monsters. It is a cute, simple game that can easily pass some time without stressing you out. It can be a great break from the intensity of Call of Duty.
