I've been playing League of Legends for more than five years now. In this video, I was going to play my main champion: Akali. But after seeing my favorite character banned, I chose Riven. Not what I expected, but it turned out pretty well!

it's not even global only in same regional, very misleading they should have a regional option, was looking forward to this and this is a big disappointment

Yeah, it's unfortunate since even the PC version functions around regions. It's mainly because Riot Games has such a large intake of players, they usually focus on the more primary regions around the world that receive the most players. People far or out of regions are forced to use VPNs to access it and face high connection problems.
