The fact that it downloads for free, but then you hit a weird paywall that you don't seem to be able to pay through is big setback. However, great gameplay and controls. If someone knows something about the paywall, please tell me.

That's probably because they ported the game to this store from another. The original game has the option to pay to play the rest of it. Taptap most likely doesn't give you the ability to pay for it, so if you want to continue, you'll have to download it elsewhere.
