People talk about burnout all the time. It's a state of feeling exhausted and drained, physically and emotionally, which is often related to stress at work. I used to turn to video games when I feel unmotivated or just to kill time, but now I find that even playing games can be stressful.
I bought five games this year. Are they good? Yes. Did I finish any of them? Nope. Spending time and energy on completing all the tasks in games are just too much for me.
That's why I start to challenge myself to flip bacon on everything, whenever I feel like playing games, as a way to cope with my gaming fatigue. (Why do I still want to play games even though I have such fatigue? Weird...)
