New Collaborative Mobile Title of SEGA & DELiGHTWORKS - Sakura Kakumei, Will Launch in Fall 2020

On September 2nd, SEGA clarified the message that it'll work together with DelightWorks to bring a new Sakura Wars mobile title: Sakura Kakumei on theirOfficial Press This game is also the teased one combined with DelightWorks 's game - PV here) and another game calledProject B.L.A.C.K that Sega revealed a short MV (made by Sakura War series composer Kouhei Tanaka) before.

Sakura Kakumei is currently in development for iOS and Android platforms and will launch in Japan this fall. It is a spin-off title set within the melodramatic, mech-battling Sakura Wars universe.

▼ Let's take a First Look at the short anime with a new cast of characters, revealed by SEGA. It is made by the Japanese animation studio Clover Works and is a brief summary of the beginning of the story.

The story is set in the future of the Sakura Taisen world, in 2011 (Taisho 100). 

Japan, which suffered devastating damage in the “Capital Catastrophe” that occurred 16 years ago, has been reconstructed thanks to a new type of energy based on spiritual power, “Mirai.” However, with the activation of the “New Capital Tower,” the cherry blossoms no longer bloomed and demons called Kouki started to increase in numbers, attacking people all over the country. During this time, the guardian of the people was a government organization called “Great Imperial Combat Revue B.L.A.C.K.” These girls took the country by storm with their awesome live performances while protecting the lives of citizens.

With Mirai and B.L.A.C.K., the people thought that placing their trust in the government will bring continued peace. Although a few have realized that this prosperity was a lie. They call themselves “Imperial Combat Revue.” Bring the government’s real plan to light, and take back Japan!

An official blurb states that Sakura Kakumei[/i] will use "a command-line battle system" to realize a proper combination of commands and simulation." Controls are described as simple, while planning and positioning are noted as vital elements of the Sakura Kakumei[/i][/i]. The website ofProject B.L.A.C.K. has now been overhauled as an official website of Sakura Kakumei and features the artwork of protagonist Sakura Shino and other characters, most are from Project B.L.A.C.K and Nippon Dakkan Project. Imperial Combat Revue

DelightWorks announced Hololive VTuber Fubuki Shirakami will be the “Official Ambassador” of the project and will hold a stream live on her channel on September 2 at 1930 JST, thirty minutes before the reveal.

 On September 1, DelightWorks revealed two new characters on Twitter. These are the commanders and most probably the protagonists the players will be able to pick:

Sakura Kakumei is set in a modern Sakura Wars world in 2011,  which is about seven decades after the first PS4 Sakura Wars, and the latest Sakura Wars game(2019) is currently available on PS4. 

Moreover, SEGA has recently stated it has big plans for Sakura Wars going forward, so there's still a lot of potential for possible remakes or sequels down the line.

To tell the truth, I was a little disappointed about the screenshot revealed before cause it seemed like a simple tag-trigger game rather than strategic ACT mechanics before. But after yesterday's press conference, I've become expectant again because from the official revealed gameplay clips, l find that the game looks more like a mix of tactical RPG and real-time, just similar to other mobile games such as SRW Cross Omega. [b]△ Battle of Sakura Kakumei(2020)Screenshot Before
