Uncharted Waters Origin (by KOEI TECMO and Line Games) marks the 30th anniversary of the sailing-themed RPG Uncharted Waters. During Tokyo Game Show 2020, the announcement trailer was revealed.

Built on Unreal Engine 4, Uncharted Waters Origin is set around the 16th-century world and reflects the costumes and architecture of the time, recreating the ports and ships of various cultures, and reintroducing many of the major characters from previous eras.

It is currently estimated that over 200 cities and ports will be designed, and over 1,000 characters will be introduced, bringing a huge amount of story to the table.

Uncharted Waters Originwill launch for PC, iOS, and Android. The CBT is expected to start within this year in South Korea.
