I was playing this until last year but I dunno why I can't update the inside, it keep making me download 5gb for no reasons

So that's why I stopped playing it. But still I like the visuals and UIs. Does anyone know where to update it? Or should I use cn VPN on playstore?

I think you can try download it by using taptap china version, mine it works.

I think VPN won't help you, you need to download the apk installation file of the game yourself, from any site a new version and install it thereby updating the old version, after such an update everything should be fine.
