Bohemia Interactive has released Update 2.0: Adventure Awaits for their low poly open-world adventure game, Ylands, after almost 3 years of development. The update includes 90 new features and the squashing of almost 9000 bugs, transforming the game from a "sandbox" to a complete "adventure".

The Ylands development team redirected the game's focus and perception, rectifying past errors that led to a decrease in the game's player base and negative reviews. The update includes new gameplay features, improved combat and crafting systems, and a new tutorial and handbook.
