A Sequel to PUBG is Coming?!
Ever since its launch in 2017, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) has become a massive hit all around the world and it is one of the most-played video games of all time. Following the huge success, the mobile version was released worldwide in March 2018.
Recently, according to Bloomberg and Chosun (a leading newspaper in South Korea), Krafton, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds parent company, is planning to release new work based on PUBG.
The schedule is as follow:
- 2021, a new battle royale mobile title based on PUBG
- 2022, PUBG-related PC and console game
- 2022, a survival horror game that will depict the PUBG universe three centuries into the future
“We will not stay as a one-hit-wonder.” as the Krafton official Kim Chang-han said.
