The Pokémon Company Reveals Exclusive Figures For This Year's World Championships

The Pokémon World Championships are scheduled to take place in Yokohama next month, from August 8th to 14th. The Pokémon Company (TPC) has started unveiling some exclusive merchandise that lucky attendees can purchase during the event.

Recently, TPC shared a sneak peek on Twitter of a collection of figures that will be exclusively available at the Pokémon Centre Worlds Store during the championship. These figures feature Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, each depicted preparing a delightful snack.

As mentioned in the tweet, these figures will only be obtainable at the World Championships, so it's best not to get too attached to them for now, even though it's quite challenging.

For those who can't attend the event in person, there's some good news! The Pokémon Company announced that a code for a free Gastrodon, modeled after the one used by last year's championship winner Eduardo Cunha, will be revealed during the World Championship broadcast. Players can then redeem this code to add the Gastrodon to their teams in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Additionally, a virtual glimmering Charizard EX card will be up for grabs in Pokémon TCG Live, ensuring that those unable to attend in person can still enjoy some exciting goodies.
