Remake of the historic second chapter of the saga for mobile My Gameplay on TikTok
📖 Storyline: On 24 July 2013, a remake developed by Ubisoft Pune with the title of the same name for iOS and Android was published by Ubisoft, subsequently removed from the Google Play Store probably for reasons due to compatibility with the most recent versions of Android and now available exclusively on Amazon for Android!
🎮 Gameplay: Much of the gameplay is reminiscent of the first game and involves puzzles, fighting, jumping and overcoming many other dangers in order to stay alive. If we were to make a comparison with the first episode titled Prince of Persia, there are a lot of new and exciting things. There are new fighting techniques and a greater number of combinations. The graphics are much improved, longevity too. Gameplay-wise, it's similar to the first Prince of Persia. The character explores different areas where he must run, jump, crawl, avoid traps, solve puzzles and drink magic potions to restore his strength. Prince of Persia 2 offers, however, more combat than its predecessor. Every time we die we will have the opportunity to use a blue potion that will allow us to come back to life immediately, or restart from the beginning of the level. Meanwhile, each level is characterized by three secondary objectives: recover a potion capable of increasing our maximum energy, explore the entire level and reach the exit within a pre-established time.
🕹️ Controls: Halfway between a platformer and an action game, this mobile chapter recovers the title of the second episode, dated 1993! It is a 2D with a control system partially recovered from that of the endless runners. The left part of the screen is used to move, while by wiping your finger, swipe, on the right part of the screen you can make jumps or somersaults. There is an icon that allows you to walk slowly instead of running, to reach the edge of platforms or approach an enemy unseen.
