ok so uhh my personal opinion on bandori
As a rhythm game it is well, exceptional beat mapping and chosen songs. It has rather quite the challenge during play
🎮 Gameplay: You dont get bored easily, despite the game being tapping notes. Events are actually pretty fun and personally made me take it seriously.
For the gacha mechanics, also rather simple. Every pull(doesnt matter if its a one pull or a ten pull) you get a sticker. When you get 100 stickers you can go to an exchange area for a chosen 4 star from that banner. Example if i got 100 stickers from banner A, i could exhange that for a 4* in banner A, but i cant use those stickers on banner B. Gacha rates are suprisingly a medium-high, and for some game-based events (come-back gacha, anniversary gacha, etc.) rates may become higher
The cards are ranked as 1*, 2*, 3*, and 4*respectively their power too. 3* and 4* cards, can go through training, which skyrocket their skills. All cards, 1* to 4* can go through two kinds of practice, skill and regular practice. This either increases their regular stats (Technique, Performance, and Visual) or increases their skill level.
📖 Storyline: The stories are well written and so are the characters. Though, it may get a little boring sometimes, and there are times you get really hooked.
🕹️ Controls: Pretty simple and understandable tutorial, the whole idea of tapping notes is simple though personally it was rather hard
🎨 Graphics: Aesthetically charming anime style, especially on cards. Designs are well made, I cant say much on it really.
🎧 Audio Design: High quality, reccomended with headphones or earphones, i apologize for this informal description but its very crisp
⏱️ Load Times: During first download, generally REALLY long, but really quick after full download of everything, short interval if a song has an MV with it
👍 Pros: Good story, intriguing gameplay, fun to play long-term and short-term, understandble tutorial, enjoyable events to not keep you bored during the game, high gacha rates
👎 Cons: storage-consuming, story may become boring at times, requires a ton of wifi to function properly
