Cyberpunk 2077: All Changes In 2.1 Update, available on Dec 5.

Translate
Though many believed that the enormous 2.0 version of Cyberpunk 2077 would be the last major update for the game, in a stream on December 1, 2023, CD Projekt Red announced even more changes coming to the revitalized game. Among these changes are some features that players have been asking for since the very beginning of the hype train all those years ago – including a Metro system.
Taking the train around Night City at one's leisure is far from the only new thing players will be able to do in Cyberpunk 2077's 2.1 update, though. On December 5, 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 players will be able to interact with romance partners in new ways, listen to the radio everywhere, engage in more dynamic vehicle combat, and even take on a newly supercharged, Sandevistan-wielding Adam Smasher boss fight.
The Night City Metro System
Players can travel between 19 metro stations which can be used as either a fast travel point or a proper metro ride experience (that can be skipped at any time). There are five metro lines operating in Night City which can be found on their own map. The metro system will only be accessible after the Konpeki Plaza sequence in the game, when players will receive a call from the metro director.
A More Challenging Adam Smasher Boss Fight
Adam Smasher is, to borrow Johnny Silverhand's words, the completely 'borged-out, more-chrome-than-human "security" agent for the Arasaka Corporation – and the one who killed Silverhand back in 2023. But by the time players reach his boss fight at the end of the game, it can become trivially easy, even on higher difficulty settings. V is just too strong by Level 60, with endgame weapons and abilities available.
A Hangout Spot For Romance Partners, And A Personal Radio
One thing Cyberpunk 2077 fans have been asking for over the years is more interaction with romantic partners. Though the 2.1 update doesn't add any new romance options, it will give players a place to bring their partner to hang out and see each other outside of missions and text messages. Additionally, players will now be able to listen to the radio outside of vehicles. With the 2.1 Cyberpunk 2077 update radio music can be played anywhere, as V will be given a personal radio to carry around. Having more things to do with one's chosen romance partner, and the ability to play the music of Night City anywhere, will make the world feel more immersive than before.
Major Driving, Motorcycle, & Street Racing Updates
Some of the biggest – and flashiest – updates coming with the 2.1 update are a suite of changes that target vehicles (particularly motorcycles), street races, and chase sequences. In addition to new motorcycles and a new Johnny Silverhand-themed car being added to the game, players can now use throwing weapons while riding a motorcycle. Not only that, but thanks to changes to the way motorcycle physics work in Cyberpunk 2077, players can now drive more effectively and even perform special maneuvers like flips.
UI Customization & Accessibility Improvements
The final major changes coming in the 2.1 update for Cyberpunk 2077 are a suite of user interface and accessibility updates – including an entirely new accessibility tab. This tab will contain options for various colorblind modes, subtitles for all spoken audio and music, the size and background opacity of on-screen text, and lots of other options for motion sensitivity and game assistance. In terms of UI updates, there are now options to enable and disable chromatic aberration, lens distortion, and decorative elements for the HUD. Players can now choose to avoid cycling to Arm Cyberware while scrolling through their equipped weapons, and the Breach Protocol minigame will no longer have any time limit – solving those codes can get pretty convoluted, after all.
