Bendy and the Ink Machine Review: Who's laughing now?

Hello, TapTap fans!
This is my first article here, and I want to start with a game that was a wonderful experience for me when it comes to gaming on smartphones. I'm referring to Bendy and the Ink Machine, a 2018 survival horror game that I discovered earlier this year.
Bendy and the Ink Machine, created by the small independent studio Joey Drew Studios, follows the adventure of Henry Stein, a retired animator who, after receiving an invitation from his former boss, returns to his old animation studio. There, he will uncover a terrifying nightmare of animated cartoons that have come to life thanks to a mysterious ink machine.
The game combines puzzle-solving, environmental exploration, and combat to immerse you in the horror of being trapped in that weird and creaky studio, stalked by dozens of strange creatures.
One of the things I liked the most (in fact, it was what initially made me download the game) was the meticulous setting with the animation style of the 1930s, supported by a warm sepia tone that covers everything from start to finish. The visual aspect of the game is incredible, from the designs to the animation... Although, be warned, some effects like smoke or ink animation can slow down the game for several milliseconds. Nothing really significant that undermines the overall experience and depending on your mobile device, you might not even notice it.
Another exceptional aspect is the soundtrack, with music that rarely lets you relax, and when it does, it gives way to sound effects scarier than the music itself. I recommend playing with headphones, not only to enjoy it better but also because sometimes you'll need them to know where the danger is coming from.
As for the controls, everything is straightforward: Tapping the left side of the screen moves you, the right side controls the camera, and then you have a couple more buttons, one for jumping and another for different context-based actions.
To keep this from getting longer and avoid spoilers, if you want to be scared and enjoy a good story, give this game a chance.
P.S: Beware of The Projectionist.
