GTA 5 |GTA 5 and 5 more games are leaving Xbox Game Pass soon
Just six months after its much-hyped return to Xbox Game Pass, Grand Theft Auto V is set to drive off into the sunset again.
2024 will kick off with a handful of big games leaving Microsoft’s subscription service, including Grand Theft Auto 5, Persona 3 Portable, and Persona 4 Golden.
Grand Theft Auto V [Xbox Series X|S]
Grand Theft Auto V [Xbox One]
Persona 3 Portable
Persona 4 Golden
Garden Story
MotoGP 22
This marks the third time that Grand Theft Auto has been removed from the Xbox Game Pass service. The game was previously included from May to July 2020 and April to August 2021. This time it was available from July 2023 to January 2024, not a short period.
During this time, Rockstar has finally announced GTA 6, the latest installment in the series. To be honest, I've already forgotten many of the details from the previous game. Perhaps to better familiarize myself with the controls or to get used to the map, I should revisit the classic. However, considering that GTA 6 won't be released until 2025, I hope that GTA 5 can again be added to the Xbox Game Pass before then, to give the new generation of players a taste of this classic series.
