It's a nice game, as long as you don't pay much attention to pvp that is. The heroes are imbalanced and there is power creep often. Meta is absolutely necessary for pvp. With that being said the pvp is just trash and broken. The events are nice tho and they give you a lot of resources along with energies, although you'll still need to grind hard especially with Soul Imprint existing. Newbies are lucky tho cause you can get 20 Full Awaken Sr Heroes from the start and there's this insane event from time to time that give you 3 Sr Heroes with Chaser lvl 15 for free. So this game can be considered F2P friendly, as long as you don't mind the pvp, power creeps, and imbalanced heroes' skills
