I started playing NIKKE a long time ago. I was originally drawn to the game for the art style, and the over the shoulder game play mechanics. I still find the art style and mechanics very exciting and pleasing. I didn't like how, like many gachas, there are a million things you have to remember to do daily. I was playing during the first event, No Caller, and I really struggled with the fact that without spending gobs of money, I didn't feel like I could finish any "end game" events or progression. I just redownloaded the game, and the "remember 5000 dailies" is still an issue, but everything feels very accessible to a returning player, and I would imagine a new player would feel the same.
I cannot stress enough how much I don't like the dating advisory and texting mechanics, I would rather not feel forced to "date" my Nikke's, and a lot of the dialogue feels like a harem kink pusher. Some people may like that, I personally do not.
TLDR, very pretty, very cool weapon mechanic, lots of dailies, hot ladies that want to text you every minute of your waking life
