Return To Abyss is a survival action bullet hell game, a genre of games that has been growing these past months since the success of game such as Vampire Survivors and Brotato.

The game offers its own twist on the concept with many new ideas and innovations as well as some pretty cool mechanics to enjoy.

🎮🎯Gameplay & Combat: As stated before this is an action bullet hell where you have to survive “The Abyss” against hoards of enemies and bosses that will keep spawning around you hunting you down to kill you! But first you will have to choose the Abyss you want to undertake and the difficulty you want to complete (Easy, Normal, Nightmare) each offering more rewards but also more difficulty as you go higher.

As the run starts enemies will begin to spawn, your task is to kill and level up, each level will offer you 4 or more options depending on your development and passives as you play the game, these options will enhance your weapons or your character to aid you in completing the abyss level.

The game also offers passives you can unlock overtime using Gold & Materials, these will aid you in becoming stronger and lasting longer in The Abyss.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ 👥 Characters (Heros & Attendants): The game will offer you multiple Heros to play as as well as Attendants to assist you in your battle.

The Heros are your  character you choose from to play as, each come with a different weapon and abilities as well as passives of their own that makes them unique in nature (Some are more useful than others, as you will learn by playing).

The Attendants are like pets you get as u play in the Abyss, they will each offer different ways to help you such as passive healing, increased power and even pulling in the enemies away from you or to a specific area. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~

There are multiple weapons to choose from as you unlock heros you can unlock these weapons. It is important to note that you can use up to 4 weapons each run you fight in and you can upgrade them all as you fight.

The weapons will have passives to unlock before ongoing a run in the Abyss, this will make them stronger and more reliable in future runs as well as offer different types of abilities.

The Gacha system is fairly basic as any Gacha system where you use in-game currency (Pulls) to obtain characters based in your luck and the % offered.

The in-game shop offers multiple thing to buy with in-game currency as well as real life money, the items to purchase are various in nature such as Skins for characters as well as materials to enhance yourself and characters in game.

⚒️📜Tasks & Missions: The game offers multiple tasks to complete as well as achievements to unlock as you play, these include Daily & Weekly missions as well as permanent achievements that can take longer to achieve on occasion.

There are “Commissions” as well that require more effort to complete and give decent rewards for that effort as well.

Airdrop chests are also great for assisting you in the Abyss, you can choose one at start but that increases over time as you unlock more slots, these offer boosts such as more abilities points, weapons that defend you and other things.

~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ 🧸Final thoughts: I very much enjoy this game to kill time, it is fun & the runs are fast, you can feel the development of your characters as you play which is survival and enjoyable as well.

I would definitely recommend this game to those who enjoy bullet hell survival games such as Vampire survivors and Brotato! This is definitely a great addition to that roster of games and one to try if you like them.
