What's it like to dive into ROM daily, or how do you navigate the gameplay, or what should you anticipate? Whether you're an old hand, a newcomer, or returning after a hiatus, the bustling world of ROM can be overwhelming. This article aims to streamline your experience, offering a checklist and gentle reminders on what to prioritize. The article includes Dailies, Weeklies, Free Time & Endgame. Dailies Beginning with daily tasks is crucial because they're often overlooked as days and weeks go by. Neglecting them means missing out on the progression they offer, making them essential for optimal advancement. Daily tasks typically include farming and participating in events. Farming Farming is vital for beginners leveling up and becomes indispensable during the endgame for accumulating Zeny. Veterans might also venture into Void farming during the endgame, especially when Zeny isn't their primary focus, opting instead to craft Purple Relics or tiering up their endgame gears. It's important to note that Void Hunts deplete Instance Stamina first, so ensure they're utilized judiciously or configured correctly to prevent unnecessary depletion.
Events In addition to daily farming, certain monthly events offer daily rewards that should be diligently pursued to avoid missing out. These rewards aid in character progression, including handbook advancements and acquiring exclusive gear(s) available only through premium currency. While some event quests can be completed in bulk, it's advisable to tackle them daily to prevent oversight. Consistently participating in event quests also advances your Event Adventure Log, providing numerous rewards promptly.
Weeklies Weekly activities center around the game's dungeons, rewarding players just once each week. Therefore, there's no need to rush when the weekly reset occurs every Monday. Instead, take the time to assemble a party to tackle these instances together. Success in these dungeons hinges on teamwork, with each member contributing their unique strengths and roles. Feel free to reach out to friends or dependable guildmates to hasten your progress. Below is a list of noteworthy instances best cleared on a weekly basis: - Echoing Corridors - Lost Isle Exploration - Oracle Dungeon - Ponape Museum Island - Ponape Secret Realm - Secret Realm of Phantom - Thanatos Tower - Whitestar Airship
Free Time Free Time encompasses content that remains permanently accessible within the game, affording you the opportunity to engage without fretting over missed rewards. As the term implies, you can indulge in these activities when you have spare moments after completing your Dailies and Weeklies. Once you've tended to your daily tasks and weekly commitments, immerse yourself in story quests at your own pace. Though these quests may be lengthy, they play a vital role in unlocking crucial base HP enhancements, significantly bolstering your survivability, particularly when facing off against fellow players in competitive game modes such as WOE, WOC, 6V6, and 12V12.
Endgame WOE, also known as War of Emperium, stands as one of the pivotal reasons players immerse themselves in ROM. It's also my primary motivation for playing this game. Everything outlined above prepares us for the intense battles that await in this weekly event, pitting players against each other in a fierce clash of guilds. WOE occurs every Thursday at 10 pm (GMT+8), and membership in a guild is mandatory for participation. Guilds come in various levels, accommodating both competitive and casual players, so ensure you find one that aligns with your playstyle. Additionally, there are timed PvP events like WOC, 6V6, and 12V12, which, while optional, offer opportunities to enhance your progression. WOC, also known as War of Crystal, unfolds on Sunday at 10 pm (GMT+8), while 6V6 and 12V12 occur seasonally on Saturdays at 9 pm (GMT+8), with their start and end times subject to variation depending on the season. Below is a screenshot on what War of Emperium looks like:

Remember, participating in these endgame activities isn't obligatory to enjoy ROM fully. Ultimately, prioritize enjoyment, forge friendships, and craft unforgettable experiences in your journey through the game. For those in need of further guidance, here's my personal weekly checklist to ensure you don't overlook anything. May it guide you to success on your adventures in ROM!
