When Korean devs do injustice to their user base with certain updates, things turn upside down
Game name : Starseed Asnia Trigger
It is a without a doubt Com2us is finally showing starting to show it's dark side of greed with the introduction of this new light elemental unit. This one character is so much OP and super expensive that she is much better than previous SSR units in almost every aspect and the gacha resources required to get her on pity is an astounding 80,000 rubies, which is 4x the pity limit cost for regular SSR characters on their banners. The drop rate to get her from her banner is horrendous. Getting this one character is just a fleeting dream for the free users and even if they do get her, they'll just have to forget about ascending/breakthrough her with duplicates which is a must requirement to further level up the characters after hitting a restriction wall. On the other hand, the crazy spending whales will get this new character in no time and easily overpower any non-paid team using this character alone, vastly increasing the gap between free users and paid users. This also reminds me how Devil Slayer, another Korean RPG, got ruined with it's new P2W update where they nerfed and degraded all the good stuffs which free users benefitted from. It pains me to see that in this day & age even Korean game developers are now stopping down to same level of greed as other Chinese companies or sometimes even worse. I remember a time, many years back, when Koreans devs used to care so much for their user base equally that the free user could acquire all characters in their games and eventually fully max upgrade them with not much effort without spending a cent. One of those games was Super String, one of most generous gacha RPGs that ever existed, which was made by Factorial Games and Webtoon. And now everything is changing in Korea, in their gaming industries. I am truly disappointed ~
