PolitiCats Review—The Most Purrfect World Domination Anyone Can Ask For

Translate
Knowing my love for the majestic felines, I have always been one of the to-go cat sitters for some of my close pals.
More often than not, I’d be finding myself spending the weekends (or the holidays) with a furry friend or two.
This time, I seem to have begun this week on a very good note with a very chummy feline.
However, I was suddenly thrust into an abyss of solitude after my friend came over to pick him up early this morning. 😭
That’s not the worst of it, though.
There’s nothing worse than experiencing withdrawal symptoms as a tsunami-like wave of restlessness and frustration wash over me. Without any hesitation, I began my search through my game backlog for something to soothe the turbulent emotions surging within me.
Lo and Behold! There’s PolitiCats, and it—much like Cats & Soup—involves endearing kittens (or rather, devious creatures in this case). It’s a simulation game that showcases the epitome of cats’ supremacy, or should I say their pursuit of world domination?Lest you end up like Team Rocket, blasting off at the speed of light (Boy, they sure can fly!).I’ll be honest... There’s absolutely no way I’d be able to make it through the game without squealing from the cuteness, especially with the vast array of customisation options available for your four-legged candidate.
For one, I knew PolitiCats is brilliant just a couple of minutes after it began with me, cardboard boxes and some children. True to the genre it has been categorised in, you’ll be tapping with your fingers away (Well, 4 fingers in my case (/ ^ \) ) to snag (CoughbrainwashCough) as many people to vote Cat! In a sense, you can only become as powerful as your tapping power. What’s more, gift boxes and cash in bubbles will be appearing randomly across the screens, so you should probably keep your eyes peeled for them. For each gift box and cash bubble you tap on, you will acquire a certain amount of cash. Tap on enough items, and you can upgrade your team. Not before long, you’ll be collecting cat-loving human staff (Can someone tell me where I can apply for a job like that?) to go up on stage, market you as a candidate, and assist you in pulling voters. As I progressed through the game, what I found most appealing about PolitiCats was its unique concept—you be taking on the role of a cat whilst winning over the hearts of mankind. It also goes without saying that the adorable art style has you hooked on collecting all the members for your team and encountering all rivals (who just happen to be animals) when you hold elections.
When it comes to the flaws, PolitiCats, much like other idle games, relies heavily on ads. What this means is that you will have to sit through an ad before getting your hands on or doubling your revenue. Otherwise, you'd probably take ages to accumulate sufficient cash to upgrade your team, especially in the later game. That’s why, I reckon you should weigh your options before you make your decisions. Lucky for me, the durations aren’t exactly too long, so it allows me to squeeze in some froyo time in between (Yum!).
So if you’re looking for a game that will satisfy your cat needs without you ever needing to own one IRL, please make sure to flex your fingers and help your furry candidate out with its climb in the political ladder here.
It’s paw-litically intriguing, wouldn’t you say so?
Before you reach the top of the political ladder, be sure to like this review and follow me for any upcoming ones. All the best and ta!

I hated Politics when I was a student, but cats definitely make it seem more fun! BTW, I totally understand your love for furry felines! BBC has made a documentary series called Big Cats. I think you'll love it!
