“League account” updates to “Riot account” with a deadline, implies the “Wild Rift” beta may coming?

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated and significant game in 2020. There are massive digital media that keep focusing on this game and heaps of news, leaks, rumors and more.

According to the Youtuber League of Legends Mobile's video, Riot is creating a one-step login for players to access all Riot games, all the League Accounts will be updated as Riot Accounts, this will affect all "LoL" servers including Public Beta, and further Riot's new games, such as "LoR", "TFT", and more. Just like Battlenet, Origin and Uplay.

Riot has emailed some players said that they need to update their login username to a different one globally unique, and must be updated before 22nd January 2020.

However, only accounts that need to be updated will receive the notice, like my account does not need to do so.

Although this information is not directly related to "LoL Wild Rift", it has still led to the speculation from many people that "League of Legends: Wild Rift" beta is coming. As I hope, Riot and Tencent is planning something about "LoL Wild Rift" beta and will be officially launch soon
