Here are some additional tips for more experienced players.

Take the Fight to Them

While seeking out fights may seem counter-intuitive in a "survival" game, choosing to duel other players will undoubtedly help you improve your defensive reflexes - it's also a good way to increase your Battlepoint (BP) reward at the end of your match if the unlockable crates are important to you.

Play With Doors

If you're undetected in a town populated with other players, you can set traps using by leaving doors strategically open or closed.

An open door will indicate either an abandoned building or one occupied by an inexperienced player, meaning an "easy" kill - spring your trap to prove them wrong.

Closing a door to a room indicates that it has yet to be entered - leave other supplies in nearby rooms then post up behind a door to surprise your prey.

Aim for the Tires

Unless you want to steal an enemy's vehicle for yourself, a great way to stop them from escaping - or, worse, running you down - is to shoot their tires out. One popped tire will slow the vehicle down considerably while hitting two or more will render it practically useless as a means of transportation.

Toggle your rate of fire

Choosing when to toggle from full auto or to single fire can determine whether you win or lose a gunfight. Most players tend to use single fire when shooting medium to long distances. Full auto would be wise if you're breaching a small room or a small safe zone where a gunfight is bound to be close quarters. Become comfortable with your various rates of fire on each weapon. For example, firearms such as the Winchester Model 1894 only has a single rate of fire at a very slow rate. Whereas the Vector has full auto, burst fire, and single fire options. So mess around with the rate of fire that you enjoy the most and go give them HELL in the Battlefield.
