Who is Your "Miss or Mr. Right" in Genshin Impact? A Guide to Help You Find Which Character to Use

As a character-driven RPG, the importance of the characters in Genshin Impact must be what you are most concerned about after getting started with the game. Today, we will recommend a few characters worth cultivating. Hope this will help you explore the Teyvat smoothly.

Note that the characters we are going to talk about are based on the 3rd CBT, which is subject to change. Characters that appeared in 1st and 2nd CBT are not included here.

As one of the Seven Gods, Venti's strength is given a full ranking.  For example, in locations like this that can't be reached by jumping, we just need to use Venti's skills like this one to take off in place and glide over easily.

Venti’s talents could allow him to gather monsters in a wide area, but huge area damage if it reacts with other elements around him. It’s like a nuclear bomb when being placed in monsters.

2. Klee

Klee is currently the only character with the fire element. Most of her attack causes an area of effect, having a certain radius. Easy to operate. Klee blows everything up! If you've gathered the monsters together beforehand, Klee will show you what a ruthless powerful attacker is.

A loli as Klee is, her height helps her to dodge attacks from enemies who are taller.

3. Jean

If Venti is the ultimate support and Klee is the top attacker, then Jean is a character with almost all of the capability. Her skills include pulling surrounding monsters towards her front and blow them up. 

She can also cause continuous AoE in a small area. Almost all characters can have a very good matching effect with her.

As a professional healer, Barbara’s skills and talents heal all party members, which are useful in almost all the battles.

However, since the skill attaches a Hydro element to their controlled characters, they will be frozen when attacked by the Cryo (Frost) element. Therefore, players joke about Barbara being 'a mole'.

5. Xiangling

Xiangling，who has a high DPS, is a pretty good "carry" among all the 4-star characters. Her elemental skill, Guoba Attack, can continuously burn enemies with fire AOE. 

Xiangling's Elemental Burst is more like a buff, you can also switch to other characters with different attributes to deal with elemental reactions.

6、Chongyun

Chongyun, whose weapon and element is “Claymore” and “Cryo (Frost)”, which could both create and break the ice at the same time.

 He can release a field buff that could changes all the characters’ attacks inside into Cryo (Frost) element. In addition, due to his skill, Chongyun can freeze the water and walk on the ice.

Lisa, she is the character you can get at the beginning with Kaeya and Amber. Lisa can make a higher DPS and a wide range of AoE skills. 

Since it is easy to level-up her “Constellation”,  Lisa is more competitive against other characters.

8、Protagonist(Traveler)[/b]

Although the Anemo (wind - elements of our protagonist）is a common effect at first, most of the time our protagonist only acts as a "puzzle tool”. But she/he starts to become useful after obtaining the Geo Skill.

Her elemental skill - Starfall Sword, will cause not only high damages but also protect herself/himself, even as a stepping stone to reach a higher place.

The most important thing is,  Lumine (sister) is soooo....cute, are you sure you don't want to use her?
